(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that a trough of low pressure from the west swings across the area, which will lead to an unstable atmosphere with scattered showers for today, June 21, along with afternoon thunderstorms.
Lipson added that some of these thunderstorms will likely produce small hail and gusty winds of 40-50 mph. Expect some lingering isolated showers and storms tonight as well.
The National Weather Service in Riverton has also shared that some storms could be strong to severe, especially east of the continental divide.
High temperatures will be in the 70′ and 80’s today, with lows tonight in the 50’s.
