In what’s become annual tradition at Riverton Middle School, students, staff members, and volunteers gathered in the cafeteria early Wednesday morning to assemble food bags in anticipation of Christmas break.
Any student who feels they could use assistance with food over the two-week break gets the opportunity to pick up a bag with extra snacks and meals.
In the 9th year of the program, over 200 bags were filled.
RMS will have another food bag program during Spring Break.
