    Community Health Center of Central Wyoming (CHCCW) is currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our amazing team of providers in our Riverton, WY location.

    • Case management
    • Therapeutic interventions for people in nearly every state of life, from young children to seniors

     Work is performed in a typical outpatient clinic environment and periodically at locations outside the office. Some travel may be required, as we have other rural health clinics located throughout central Wyoming.

     Essential Functions

    • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary medical team;
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills;
    • Ability to work independently and be self-directed;
    • Experience with all age groups, different cultures and socio-economic groups;
    • A strong understanding of the interrelationship among physiological and psychological conditions;
    • Demonstrated ability in conducting diagnostic interviews, identifying DSM-V (5) diagnoses and developing counseling plans;
    • Assist in the provision of a broad spectrum of services to CHCCW patients who are in need of such assistance.

     Such services may involve:

    • Substance abuse,
    • Socio-economic issues,
    • Anxiety,
    • Depression,
    • ADHD,
    • Marital relationships, and
    • Other realms of patient needs in both individual and group settings;
    • Provide mental health services appropriate to the age-specific needs of all patients in accordance with the principles of growth and development for infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric lifestyles.

     Minimum Qualifications

    • Education: Minimal requirements/qualifications for this position include a Master’s degree from an accredited institution with appropriate academic emphasis. License by the Mental Health Professions or license eligible in Wyoming.
