(Riverton, WY) – Jaycee Park on W. Sunset got a fresh new look recently thanks to the Young Single Adult branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
They “took on the challenge to scrape, prime, and paint it again,” shared Melany Gard. “After years of dependable service to families with children, the paint on the mural, roofs, and playground equipment showed the abuse of the elements.”
Local professional artist Lilly Riter generously donated her talent to paint the “pirate mural” and made the magic come back to life.
Melany also gave a big “Thank You” to AD Martin, Brett Evans Painting, and Sherwin Williams, who donated paint and supplies.
