Hot, dry, windy conditions for Wednesday

(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that the pressure gradient will increase today, June 12, which will result in westerly winds increasing to speeds of up 40 mph this afternoon.

Lipson added that these winds will lead to more hot air moving into the area from the south, along with much warmer temperatures. The winds will continue into tonight, under mostly clear skies.

The National Weather Service in Riverton has also shared that due to the hot, dry, windy conditions, we can expect elevated fire weather conditions.
