(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that the pressure gradient will increase somewhat today, June 30, as a Pacific trough approaches the area.
Lipson says that this will increase southwest winds up to 35 mph this afternoon, which will also bring hot dry air. Those winds will continue into tonight under mostly clear skies.
The National Weather Service in Riverton is also advising of elevated to critical fire weather conditions across the area.
High temperatures will be in the 80′s and 90’s for most today, with lows tonight in the 50’s.
