    Dubois School Board to discuss Lights On program plan for 2024-2025 school year during regular meeting Tuesday

    The Fremont County School District 2 (Dubois) Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, in the Board Room at the District Administration Building, 700 N. First St. in Dubois.

    The agenda includes two donations:
    -$300 from the Dubois Outfitters Association
    -$50 from the ACFCU Gold Bison Foundation for graduation supplies

    The board will also hear presentations, committee reports, visitor comments, an administrative report, and a financial report.

    Discussion items on the agenda include:
    -upcoming work sessions and training opportunities
    -a review of board policy changes
    -a discussion of the Lights On program
    -a review of the budget and setting of a budget hearing

    The policies listed for review cover health and wellness, homeschooling, public conduct on school property, and parental rights.

    Action items on the agenda include:
    -approve policy language
    -Lights On for the 2024-2025 school year

    Two action items are also listed for consideration after an executive session regarding personnel and safety and security:
    -approve superintendent contract
    -approve 24-25 supplemental contract list
