On March 23, 2020, folks from the Sheridan community held up signs and handed out goodie bags of individually wrapped Rice Krispie treats, chips, cookies, M&M’s and candies to drivers at the Sheridan Port of Entry as a ‘thank you’ for the efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Everyone involved had hand sanitizers and practiced good social distancing while participating in this event and were ecstatic to see the drivers and the appreciation for their efforts. Lots of hand waves, horn honks, and smiling faces showed that their efforts were appreciated.
