(Lander, WY) – Community members have organized a rally to demonstrate their support for “reproductive justice” and their opposition to “increasingly restrictive access to abortion care.”
Starting at 11 am on Saturday, October 2nd, they will peacefully march from Dairy Land to S. 2nd Street at Centennial Park.
“At Centennial Park, we will hear from guest speakers from around the Fremont County and Wind River Reservation communities,” organizers shared.
Participants are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing during the event.
The March is happening nationwide on that Saturday, ahead of the Supreme Court reconvening on October 4th.
A poster painting party has also been organized at 6 pm on Friday, October 1st, at the Lander Art Center.
