    Wyoming Senior Citizens, Inc. receives a 45K grant from Wyoming Community Foundation

    Wyoming Senior Citizens, Inc. is pleased to announce that they have received a grant for $45,000 to support the National Family Caregiver Support Program in eight counties across Wyoming from the Wyoming Community Foundation.

    The National Family Caregiver Support Program currently offers Respite, Homemaking, Assistance with Coordination of Services, and Support Group to non-paid family caregivers providing aid to someone over the age of 60 or living with a neurological disorder such as dementia.

    Caregivers do not need to be living with their loved ones to receive assistance, these services can assist individuals who are caring for their household and that of an elder family member or friend whom they are assisting maintain independence.

    This grant was made possible because of the Grace Amspoker Fund, the Casper Area Opportunities Fund, the Tony Cate Fund, the LEK Endowment Fund, the Fremont Endowment Fund, and the BP Communities-Carbon Fund.
