    Wyoming ranks third in the country with employee hiring struggles

    (Wyoming) – We’re in an era across the United States known as the “Great Resignation.” Tens of thousands of employees have left their jobs to pursue other opportunities or remote at-home positions.

    Last week, a study announced that Wyoming ranked 18th in the country in percentage of workers who have resigned from their jobs over the last 12 months.

    WalletHub.com has also created a survey about states that are struggling to find employees the most in 2022. In that study, Wyoming is the state with the third biggest struggle to hire new employees.

    Wyoming Hiring Struggle Stats

    • Job openings rate during the latest month: 8.90%
       
    • Job openings rate in the past 12 months: 6.80%
       
    • Overall rank: 3rd biggest hiring struggle in the country

    Our state ranks only behind Alaska and Vermont in difficulty finding employees.

    Areas with the least difficulty finding new employees in 2022 according to the list include Washington D.C., Washington, Delaware, New York and Kansas.
