    Wyoming ranks low when it comes to dental health

    (Wyoming) – According to a new study ranking all 50 states on overall dental health, Wyoming doesn’t have very much smiling to do.

    The WalletHub study researched several metrics from across the country including resident’s dental habits, dentists per capita, dental affordability, and sugar consumption.

    Out of the 50 states plus D.C., Wyoming ranks 38th overall. Wyoming ranked 46th overall in dental habits and care. Despite the overall low ranking, the Equality State does rank 3rd in dentists per capita and 4th in lowest percentage of adults with poor or fair oral condition.

    Louisiana, Montana, Arkansas, West Virginia, and Mississippi rank the worst. Meanwhile Connecticut, Minnesota, D.C., Illinois, and Wisconsin rank as the best states for dental health.
