(Wyoming) – According to a new survey from WalletHub, Wyoming is the 30th best state in the country for doctors.
Our state was 50th in the category of “medical environment.” The medical environment category took into consideration; quality of public hospital system, hospital safety, presence of nationally accredited health departments and more.
Wyoming ranks 40th in the category of “opportunity and competition.” This category weighs wages for physicians, current competition for job opportunities, and more.
The best states for doctors according to the list are South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Montana and Idaho.
The worst states for doctors include Rhode Island, New York, Washington D.C., Delaware, and New Jersey.
