    Wyoming judge sentences 3 illegal immigrants near Casper; 6 other sentences this week

Recent sentencings are listed below and include 3 illegal immigrants found near Casper, one sex offender, one drug distributor, three fraud cases, and one firearm violation.

    Chief Federal District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl sentenced STEVEN THOMAS PARRISH, 48, of Layton, Utah on January 2, 2019 for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Parrish was arrested in Montana. He received time served and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $250.00 and a $100.00 special assessment. The Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation investigated this case.

    Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal sentenced UBALDO BECERRIL-SOSA, 29, of Queretaro, Mexico on January 2, 2019 for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. Becerril-Sosa was arrested in Casper, Wyoming. He received time served plus ten days to allow for deportation proceedings and ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment.     Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal sentenced ESTIBE GARCIA-PEREZ, 34, of Guatemala City, Guatemala on January 16, 2019 for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. Garcia-Perez was arrested in Casper, Wyoming. He received twelve months and one day of imprisonment, to be followed by thirty-six months of supervised release, and ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment.     Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson sentenced JENNIFER SUZANNE COLEMAN, 29, with no fixed residence on January 14, 2019 for conspiracy to commit bank fraud. Coleman was arrested in Fort Collins, Colorado. She received eighteen months of imprisonment, to be followed by forty-eight months of supervised release, and ordered to pay restitution in an amount to be determined. The United States Post Office Investigative Service investigated this case.

    Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson sentenced ALEXIS MARIE JOHNSON, 26, with no fixed address on January 9, 2019 for conspiracy to commit bank fraud and possession of stolen mail. Johnson was arrested in Fort Collins, Colorado. She received eighteen months of imprisonment for each count to be served concurrently, to be followed by thirty-six months of supervised release per count, and ordered to pay restitution in an amount to be determined.     Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal sentenced SARA KRISTINA BLAKEMAN, 55, of Evanston, Wyoming on January 3, 2019 for theft from an organization receiving federal funds. Blakeman was arrested in Uinta County, Wyoming. She received fifty-seven months of imprisonment, to be followed by thirty-six months of supervised release, and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $605,590.31 and a $100.00 special assessment. The Evanston Police Department and the US Department of Health and Human Services investigated this case.

Rodriguez was arrested in Laramie, Wyoming. He received seventy-seven months of imprisonment, to be followed by thirty-six months of supervised release, and ordered to pay a $200.00 fine, and a $100.00 special assessment. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives investigated this case.

Echeverria-Lopez was arrested in Natrona County, Wyoming. He received six months of imprisonment and ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment. The Department of Homeland Security Investigations investigated this case.
