Wyoming Indian Schools offering free lunch for those impacted by the Government Shutdown

(Ethete, Wyo.) – Fremont County School District #14 Superintendent Owen St. Clair reported this morning his district is helping to take the sting of the government shutdown for community residents by offering them a free lunch at one of the district’s three schools.

St. Clair’s announcement was directed to the community on his Facebook page today:

“The government shutdown has affected many people in our community. Fremont County School District #14 will invite those directly affected by the government shutdown to have lunch at one of our schools until the government shutdown is over.

“For those directly affected by the government shutdown, we ask that you call the school that you plan to have lunch at by 10:00 am, so that we can have enough meals prepared for you and our students. While at our schools, you are more than welcome to be part of our school day.

“If you have any questions please call the administration office at 332-3904.”
