Wyoming Indian High School celebrates Homecoming week; Royalty announced

    It’s homecoming week at Wyoming Indian High School, and students have had the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities all week.

    Wednesday, students celebrated “twins day” and “decade day.”

    Students were encouraged to either dress like their favorite decade, or to dress identical to a friend.

    On Thursday, the royalty coronation takes place and will be followed up a parade. The parade is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m.

    WIHS volleyball plays against Dubois at 5:15 p.m. and the Chiefs football team plays against the Cody JV at 6:00 p.m. in Ethete.

    This year’s royalty was announced Tuesday:

    • Senior King and Queen: Jerry McGill and Siona Astorga
    • Junior Attendants: Isaiah Littleshield and Mary Harris
    • Sophomore Attendants: Corwin Howell and Sandie Friday
    • Freshman Attendants: Aubry McCabe and Amya Her Many Horses
