    Wyoming Indian boys and girls will play for a regional championship Saturday

    Defending state champions Wyoming Indian, boys and girls, teams will look to secure a number one seed from the west and capture a 2A west regional championship Saturday in Riverton.

    The Lady Chiefs knocked off Kemmerer 58-19 Friday and will match up with the top seed from the north, Rocky Mountain in Saturday’s championship game at Riverton High School. Projected tipoff is 2:30 p.m.

    The WIHS boys beat Tongue River 69-64 and will also play Rocky Mountain in the championship. The Grizzlies are also the north’s top seed. Tipoff is set for 4:00 p.m. from RHS.

    Four other Fremont County teams will play consolation 1A/2A West regional games with everything on the line Saturday. Winners advance to state and a 3rd place game Saturday, losers are done for the season. The County 10 schedule Saturday is as follows…
