Wyoming Indian boys and girls both go back-to-back as state champions

The Chiefs and Lady Chiefs have done it again, back-to-back state championships for both teams.

The Lady Chiefs took care of Pine Bluffs 52-46 at the Casper Events Center this evening. The Lady Chiefs led by 7 at halftime, and fought off a tough come-back attempt from the Lady Hornets. WIHS defeated Southeast and Moorcroft to get to the championship game.

It took overtime again this year for the WIHS boys as they edged Sundance 54-49 in a thriller. The Chiefs beat Big Horn by 2 points, 63-61 on Friday, and Pine Bluffs by four on Thursday 72-68.
