Mountain West Conference Athletic Directors will meet this week to discuss an October 24th start date for their football season according to FOX Sports’ anchor Bruce Feldman.
Reports indicate the Mountain West is looking at an 8-game, all conference season. Starting in October would give the Mountain West an opportunity to compete for a spot in one of the “New Year’s Six” bowl games, should they have a team that qualifies.
