Wyoming Director of Homeland Security to Retire

    (Cheyenne, Wyo.) – The Director of the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security, Guy Cameron, has announced his retirement effective in one month, on January 25th, 2019. Cameron has directed the office for the past eight years, having been appointed by Governor Matt Mead.

    Prior to his appointment, Cameron spent 32 years in the fire service in Cheyenne, including four years as Chief of the CFD.

    The Wyoming Office of Homeland Security’s primary mission is to prepare state stakeholders and each county to respond to and recover from natural or man made disasters. Through a multitude of state and federal programs and grants, the office provides assistance and support during and in the aftermath of disasters.
