Wyoming DEQ offices remain open across the state

The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality offices remain open across the state. Although some of our staff may be teleworking from remote locations, the department remains committed to ensuring that all department responsibilities and functions are carried out timely and within regulatory requirements. However, due to recent circumstances there will be some adjustments to minimize person-to-person contact.

    • Upcoming Abandoned Mine Land Pre-Bid Project Tours will be conducted online. Please contact the AML office at 307-777-6145 if you have questions.
    • The department is considering alternative formats for public hearings and meetings including online options to allow additional access to the public and to limit the potential exposure to our citizens and staff through social distancing.
    • If you are interested in viewing physical documents and records at any of our offices, please submit a records request through our online portal. Staff will be in contact to schedule a time and date for your visit.
    • As our offices remain open, we encourage the public to conduct business through phone and/or email with our staff. The public who must conduct business in person should adhere to adequate social distancing guidelines of 6 feet or more and groups of less than 10.

For more information, please call our main office at 307-777-7937. Also, our website will continue to provide updates as needed. http://deq.wyoming.gov
