    Wyoming Department of Corrections inmate died Saturday

    (Cheyenne, WY) – The Wyoming Department of Corrections (WDOC) has reported an inmate, Clarence Hinckley, 57, passed away on Saturday March 27, while hospitalized in Wyoming Medical Center in Casper.

    Hinckley was convicted of “unlawful possession of a schedule II narcotic drug” in Campbell County Wyoming on January 2, 2020, and “sentenced to 5 to 12 years by District Court Judge Deegan.” No information as to why he was hospitalized was shared in today’s release.

    “Per WDOC policy an autopsy will be conducted to determine cause of death,” according to the WDOC release. “WDOC does not release protected health information.”
