    Wyoming Department of Corrections inmate died Monday

    (Cheyenne, WY) – The Wyoming Department of Corrections (WDOC) has reported a second inmate has died while hospitalized in Rawlins this month.

    According to the WDOC release, 67-year-old Gray Lee Beldon died Monday, February 15th. No information on why he was hospitalized was shared in today’s release.

    Beldon was “convicted of First Degree Murder” in Lincoln County on December 4th, 2000. He was “sentenced to life by District Court Judge Troughton.”

    “Per WDOC policy an autopsy will be conducted to determine cause of death,” according to the WDOC release. “WDOC does not release protected health information.”

    A week prior to Beldon’s death, WDOC reported 73-year-old Stephen Franklin Green had died while hospitalized at the Carbon County Hospital. Click here to read our earlier post.
