Wyoming could see record high temps this week; Dry forecast increases drought conditions

The National Weather Service office in Riverton is projecting we’ll see record-high, or near record-high, temperatures late this week.

Riverton, Lander, and Fort Washakie are projected to reach the low 90’s this weekend. Dubois and higher elevations could reach the low 80’s.

According to NWS Riverton, “the heat looks to stick around for a while. June looks to start off dryer than normal as well, after an exceptionally dry May for many.”
