    Wyoming Arts Council to hold public listening session in Lander on September 9th

    (Lander, WY) – The Wyoming Arts Council is holding the third round of statewide listening sessions in Lander on September 9th from 4:30-6 pm at the Lander Art Center – 258 Main Street.

    Every five years the Arts Council completes a new strategic plan in collaboration with the National Endowment for the Arts. As part of this process, the Arts Council will be gathering feedback through public listening sessions, interviews, and small group meetings. 

    Additionally, the Arts Council is accepting feedback through an online Google survey.

    A session is also planned for Cody the following day, September 10th, from 4-5:30 pm in the Coe Auditorium at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West – 720 Sheridan Avenue. 

    These events are free and open to the public. Individual artists, community members, grantees, and volunteers, board members, and staff from local arts organizations are invited to attend. Thank you to local partners for hosting these listening sessions. All sessions will follow current Wyoming Health Department guidelines related to COVID-19.
