Roads are slowly reopening in Wyoming this afternoon following wintery conditions last night and into today.
Still closed as of 2:00 pm today, September 8th, is WY-135 between WY-139 and Sweetwater Junction. No reopening timeframe has been shared by WYDOT. Closer to Riverton, a no unnecessary travel advisory is in place between WY-789 and WY-139 on WY-135.
In other road news, South Pass has reopened. However, conditions are “Wet, Slick in Spots with Snowfall, Strong Winds, Blowing Snow,” according to the WYDOT road report.
