(Fremont County, WY) – After a day and a half of voting in the 2022 County 10 Mascot Challenge, last year’s top two competitors have received the most votes.
The Frontier Academy Phoenix, who were runners-up in 2021, started round one voting very strong but throughout the day Tuesday defending champions Shoshoni’s Wranglers have caught up.
The two continue to trade leads as they race for round two’s number one seed.
Meanwhile, the Arapaho Charter Warriors, Pathfinder Panthers, Central Wyoming College Rustlers, St. Stephens Eagles, Wyoming Indian Chiefs and Fort Washakie Eagles find themselves in danger of first round elimination.
After round one, the bottom 4 teams will be eliminated and the remaining 8 will be entered into seeds based on their overall vote for head-to-head competition.
