    Women’s Night Out

This Thursday night, join other brave and passionate women as they advocate for the issues that surround breast cancer and those affected by it. Women’s Night Out is all about celebrating women while driving awareness in a fun, loving atmosphere.

Enjoy refreshments, raffles and a chance to win a FREE Breast Cancer Screening! The evening’s guest speaker will be the lovely, Bobbi Barrasso.

Bobbi is a survivor and passionate advocate for the cause and for women in general. When she was diagnosed with breast cancer sixteen years ago, she never would have imagined her journey would lead to the path she’s on now. Today, she works diligently to provide prevention, early detection, accessible screenings, services and support.

As part of Wyoming’s Susan G. Komen activities, Bobbi and other volunteers were able to carry on that work by forming the Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative. She is proud of the work of the WBCI to ‘educate, advocate and eradicate’ breast cancer. The non profit raises and grants funds for Wyoming activities, programs and screenings. She also volunteers with the Angels, a cancer support group in Casper.

Bobbi is a member of the Congressional Families Cancer Prevention Program, and regularly joins with Diana Enzi to provide statewide information on various cancers.

She is also passionate about Wyoming’s history and historic preservation. Bobbi is on the Board of the Louisa Swain Foundation which recognizes the country’s first woman voter who cast her ballot in Laramie.

Bobbi is a Wyoming native. She and her husband, John, live in Casper and have 3 grown children.

Bobbi’s story is sure to inspire and empower women in all walks of life. Come hear her story and share a fun and lively evening among friends!
