    Wisconsin man dead, two injured after weekend rollover in Lincoln County

    (Lincoln County, WY) – A crash occurring near milepost 86 on US-30 near Kemmerer was reported at 5:20 AM Sunday morning, which resulted in one death and two injuries, according to a Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP) preliminary report.

    The deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Wisconsin resident Braxton Gusman.

    According to the report, Gusman was eastbound on US 30 when at approximately milepost 86.8, the vehicle crossed into the westbound lane and traveled onto the north shoulder striking a delineator post.

    The vehicle was corrected to the right and entered back into the westbound lane.

    The vehicle was then overcorrected to the left traveling back onto the north shoulder where it exited the roadway.

    The vehicle entered a passenger-side leading skid before tripping and rolling two times.

    The driver and front passenger were both ejected resulting in fatal injuries to the driver.

    Driver fatigue was listed as a possible contributing factor, and the report indicates no seatbelt was in use.

    There have been 23 fatalities on Wyoming’s roadways in 2022 compared to 26 in 2021, 20 in 2020, and 41 in 2019 to date.
