Fremont County Commissioners’ meeting had a packed agenda this week.
Public Health Nurse Manager Kathleen Laidlaw is retiring on September 20th, 2019. Commissioner Clarence Thomas presented Kathleen with a plaque for her service during the meeting.
Kathleen also shared there has been a lot of public concern around the recent plague cases in Fremont County. The information Kathleen shared can be found in our earlier post. She also noted flu shots will start on October 1st and public health plans to have 3 or 4 outreach clinics.
Boysen State Park Superintendent John Bass interviewed for and was appointed to a three-year term on the Wind River Visitor’s Council.

County Clerk Julie Freese presented Deb Reed with a 20-years of service plaque.
Five interviews for the Fremont County Fair Board happened at the meeting as well. Alan Sinner was appointed to fill that 1.5-year vacancy on the board.
The board also approved a four week extension for completion of the Moneta-Lysite road shoulder widening project.
