Wind River Inter Tribal Court Judge pleads not guilty to drug charges
Wind River Tribal Court Cheif Judge Terri Smith has been accused of three felonies.
In March, County 10 reported that Smith was accused of cocaine distribution and using a cell phone to distribute a controlled substance. In May 2019, an additional charge of oxycodone distribution was added against Smith.
According to K2 Radio, Smith pleaded not guilty to all three counts against her in court last week.
A federal grand jury indicted Terri last month, the indictment alleged Smith and two others of distributing the narcotics from November 2017 to November 2018.
Smith was released on a $25,000 unsecured bond. Her trial continues in late July in District Court in Cheyenne.
