Widely scattered showers, thunderstorms with high winds likely for Wednesday

    (Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared we can expect increasing clouds today, May 29, with widely scattered showers and thunderstorms by this afternoon, and possible wind gusts of up to 45 mph.

    Lipson added that this weather will continue into tonight, but clouds and showers will diminish around midnight.

    The National Weather Service in Riverton has also shared that these strong winds will be the main severe weather threat this afternoon and early evening.


    High temperatures will be in the 70’s for most today, with Dubois and the South Pass area in the upper 60’s, and Riverton and Shoshoni in the 80’s.

    Lows tonight will be in the 40’s and for most.
