(Cheyenne, WY) – The Wyoming Highway Patrol announced in a press release Thursday the passing of Communication Specialist Richard C. Diefenderfer this morning.
He began working at the WHP in March of 1998 and worked as a dispatcher as well as a dispatch supervisor, WHP shared. He was well-liked by his co-workers and often recognized for being a team player. He was recognized for his diligence and initiative throughout his career. On many occasions, Rich would go above and beyond to find information to aid with apprehensions.
“We thank Rich for his contributions to the agency and extend our condolences to the family in this time of sorrow,” WHP said.
