It’s a busy weekend in Fremont County and County 10 has collected an overview of what you can expect.
Important note: Many of the events are taking measures to prevent the virus from spreading. Those who are feeling sick or having symptoms related to COVID-19 should remain home for the safety of others.
Riverton Rendezvous Days
Riverton Rendezvous Day had to make many changes due to COVID-19 but that hasn’t stopped 30 balloons from registering for liftoff. Please Note: Crew and pilots participating are required to wear masks. Temperature screenings will be held for those participating. No spectators allowed on the Balloon Rally field and are asked to watch outside the roped area. Social distancing is recommended for those watching outside the roped area.
Volunteers and crew members are needed. If you are interested in helping out, come to the field at 5:45 am to register.

Friday 17th
Balloon rally and Media day at the CWC launch field starting at 6 am.
Saturday 18th
Balloon Rally located at the CWC launch field starting at 6 am.
Balloon Glow located at the CWC launch field starting at 8:30 pm. The Balloon Glow is weather depending and is subject to cancelation. The 10 pm fireworks have been canceled due to dry conditions.
Sunday the 19th
Balloon Rally located at the CWC launch field starting at 6 am.
28th Annual Rocky Mountain Rebels Car Show
The Rocky Mountian Rebels Car Show is having their annual car show. Cars will be spread out on the field so spectators can practice safe social distancing. Gloves and masks will be available to those who need them. If you don’t wish to stand in line to register, car club members will come to you.

Friday, July 17th
Friday Night Cruise, no registration needed. Cars meet at Sutherland’s parking lot at 5 pm. The parade begins at 6 pm. From 6:30 – 10 pm cars will be on display with food and vendors available.
Saturday, July 18th
Car Show and Autocross at CWC. Autocross registration at 7 am. Please note: Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and insurance. Helmets are required if you don’t have one in your possession a loaner will be given to you. Any questions regarding the Autocross, call Bruce at (307) 851-3549.
7-9 am is early bird parking, there is limited shade. Food and vendors will be available at the car show. Then at 4 pm is the awards ceremony.
Sunday, July 19th

Riverton High School All Class Reunion
The Riverton All Class Reunion takes place on July 17 & 18. The event is welcome to teachers, students, coaches, parents, spouses, and family. Note: You must first be registered for the All-Class Reunion for any of the special rates offered and to have a spot secured at the free events.

Friday 19
Riverton’s Got Talent & Friday Night Social. The social begins at 7 pm and the talent show starts at 8 pm. This is a family event and is welcome to all ages.
Saturday 18
Golfing at Riverton Country club start at 10 am.
Rally Relay games located at Sunset Park. Check-in is at 11 am and the games begin at 11:30 am.
Wind River Canyon White Water Float Trip at 12 pm. You must already be pre-registered for this event.
Old Riverton High School Tour starts at 3 pm.
2020 Horse Show
Fremont County Fair is set to host the Horse Show starting Friday at 8 am. The horse show will last until Saturday and is located at the Fairground in Riverton.
County 10 will follow up on the rest of the fair’s planned events at a later date.
Rendezvous Games
The Rendezvous Games are postponed until mid-September.
