The Shoshoni Chamber of Commerce has organized a weekend of events for all ages at the 2020 Shoshoni Days starting on Saturday, June 13th.
Below is a list of each event, their times, and a few details provided by the Shoshoni Chamber of Commerce.
Saturday, June 13th:
Pancake Breakfast: Free will donation breakfast at the Community Room from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. Ham, pancakes, fruit, and beverages will be served.
Shoshoni Senior Center Bake Sale: Help support the Shoshoni Senior Center by buying some homemade treats. Pick them up while attending the breakfast or during the dinner and dance time in the Community Room.
Rebels Without a Cause Car Show: Come look at some of the cars and enjoy the information provided by the owners. We believe that they will be lined up on 3rd St. and Wyoming St. from 11: 00 am to 4:30 pm.
ATV Poker Run: Mary Lou Fullerton organized an ATV Poker Run this year. The Poker Run has been scheduled from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday. Please meet at 107 S Main St. in Shoshoni so you can participate. For further information call Mary Lou at 307-851-1241.
Waterblast in the Park: Come to the Shoshoni Town Park at the corner of 3rd St. and Wyoming St. at 2:00 pm and have a Blast of Water fun with water guns. You are welcome to bring your own water gun or you are welcome to use one of ours. We will end the Waterblast time at 4:00 pm so all can go home and get dry and be ready for the Pulled Pork Dinner in the Community Room beginning at 5:00 pm.
Pulled Pork Dinner: Friends of the Shoshoni, WY Chamber of Commerce have agreed to help this year by making a pulled pork dinner for all to enjoy from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This dinner will include Pulled pork, coleslaw, potato salad, and baked beans. This dinner at the Community Room will also be a free-will donation event. Please join us and give what you can.
Dutch Oven Cobbler Contest*: We are calling all Dutch oven cooks to cook up your best cobbler and bring it to the Community Room at 6:00 pm. The cobblers will be judged by the people who taste the cobblers. Last year we had 3 contestants and this year we are hoping for more. The cobblers were great but, were soon gone so we need more people to join in the fun. Even if we run out of cobbler there should be ice cream for everyone. There will be a cash prize for the top three winning cobblers.
Dance to Packin’ the Mail: The music provided by Packin’ the Mail will begin at 7:00 pm at the Community Room and will continue until 11:00 pm. We invite you all to stay and enjoy the music and add in a dance when you feel like cutting the rug..

Sunday, June 14th:
Turkey Shoot: The Shoshoni Rifle Club is having a Turkey Shoot during the afternoon of June 14, 2020. Be at the Shoshoni Rifle Range at 1:00 pm to sign up for the shoot. Prize money will be given for the top 3 shooters.
