(Riverton, WY) – Riverton High School (RHS) will host a multi-district Community Healing Pow-wow, funded by the Central Wyoming College Institute of Tribal Learning, in the Wolverine Gym this Saturday, December 18th.
The ceremony will begin at 10:00 AM with a Community Cedaring, followed by Gourd Dancing at 11:00 AM, and the Grand Entry at 12:00 PM.
There will also be a Tiny Tots and Potato Dance, Chicken Dance, Rabbit Dance, Switch Dance, a Women’s Jingle dance (Zariah Whiteplume), and Men’s Traditional dance (Joe Delmer Duran III).
The various dances are sponsored by FCSD #25, FCSD #38, FCSD #14 and Eastern Shoshone Recovery.
