(Riverton, WY) – A Pride Kick-Off Party tribute to the late David Adams is happening tomorrow, June 18th. The party is taking place at The Social Lounge & Nightclub located at 502 E Main Street – doors open at 7 pm and the party starts at 9 pm.
Adams passed away in August and was fundamental in organizing last year’s first official Pride celebration in Riverton, according to one of the organizers Renard Le Blanc.
Friday night is a thank you to Dave as well as Liz Hardwick, who was also key in making last year’s event happen, Le Blanc continued. They worked side-by-side through the difficulties of COVID to have a successful celebration.
The Pride events continue into Saturday with the annual Wind River Pride Fest at Lander City Park from 1-4 pm and back at The Social Lounge & Nightclub that evening for another party that’s all about pink.
Everyone is invited to celebrate Pride, shared Le Blanc.
