You are invited to celebrate 10 years of Makerspace 307 on Tuesday, May 11th at 5:30pm located at 2255 Brunton Court, Ste A in Riverton! Come and take a tour of the space, enjoy a director’s presentation, and have some cake and ice cream.
May 2021 marks 10 years since Maker Space 307 held their very first event. Since then, they have grown with new tools, new “makers”, and more fun!
“At Maker Space 307, we foster learning by making. Sometimes making is a collaborative process that requires common space, sometimes making is learning how to use new materials and new equipment to support creative ideas. Making is the best way for people to learn everything from science to art with skills that span traditional too technical.“
This event will also kick off Makerspace 307’s new monthly “Maker Community Meetup” where each month they will have a special guest maker share their projects. After the guest speaker, others will have the opportunity to show off projects and meet other makers in the community. This month, they will showcase some of the projects they have done in the last ten years and share a little of what they hope to do in the next ten.
This event is free and open to the public.
