(Lander, WY) – The City of Lander and HDR Engineering will hold a public open house on January 18, 2022 to inform the public and gather public information on the upcoming Sidewalk Improvements Project taking place near Gannett Peak Elementary School.
The public open house will take place at the Lander Community & Convention Center, 960 Buena Vista Dr, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
This project includes sidewalk improvements along Sweetwater Street, 5th Street, Cascade Street, 7th Street, Canyon Street, and Popo Agie Street which surround Gannett Peak Elementary.
The project goal is to complete sidewalk improvements along the proposed routes.
These include design and construction of missing sidewalk, replacement of inaccessible sidewalk, and making ADA accessibility improvements to corner ramps and driveway approaches.
The public open house will be informal and allow for open discussion with members of the project team.
A short presentation will take place at 6:15 with the remainder of the time reserved for one-on-one and small group conversations.
The project team will be collecting questions, comments, and contact information from meeting attendees.
