Stock Doc Annual Halloween Costume Contest

The Stock Doc is hosting their annual Halloween Costume Contest outside their location at 3700 Riverview Road in Riverton on Oct. 30 from 3-5:30 pm.

This year’s theme is “Under the Sea” and there will be prizes for scariest, cutest, best family theme and best match to the Stock Doc Theme.

There will also be appetizers and treats for kiddos and four-legged family members.

    Halloween Trunk or Treat

The Eastern Shoshone Tribe and its programs, departments, enterprises and local entities are hosting a Trunk or Treat event on Oct. 30 from 1-3 pm at the Rocky Mountain Hall parking lot.

This will be the only time candy will be given out to children by tribal employees. Due to COVID-19 concerns, they ask families not to visit individual departments in the morning.

Aside from more than a dozen tribal programs, the Fort Washakie Fire Department and Wind River Inter-tribal Council also plan to participate.

Candy donations and pumpkins are being accepted. Masks are required.

5th Annual Haunted House and Food Drive

Join the South Pass Outpost #1867’s 5th Annual Haunted House & Food Drive. Admission into these haunted halls will cost a non-perishable food item(s) or small cash donation.

All food will be donated to the Lander Care & Share Food Bank while all monetary donations this year will go to benefit South Pass City.

The event takes place on the 30th and 31st.

Halloween Costume Contest & Party, CANCELLED

The Wind River Hotel & Casino will have a DJ playing on the Casino floor starting at 9 pm.

Any customer that wears a costume on Friday, October 30, or Saturday, October 31, may get $15 in free play.

No costume contest will take place.

Be sure to submit your address to the County 10 Halloween 2020 page so people know that your house is giving out candy.
