    Hot air balloons, classic cars, live music, and much more are on tap this weekend across Fremont County.

    This weekend, we’re separating the community events into two categories: Riverton Rendezvous and other events.

    • Vacation Bible School – Lander

      Faith Lutheran Church, 1600 Sinks Canyon Rd, Lander, WY 82520, USA

      Vacation Bible School in Lander is coming July 16-20 at Faith Lutheran Church on the Sinks Canyon Road . “Beyond Belief” is the theme of this year’s VBS. There are two programs, one for children entering grades one through five with times Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Friday from 9 a.m. to Noon. The second is for Preschool kiddos, ages three through those entering Kindergarten, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to Noon. All are welcome. Counselors from Sky Lutheran Ranch.       Enjoy a free concert featuring the community band with guest artist Lights Along the Shore!

      Rodney Garnett, professor emeritus in the Department of Music at the University of Wyoming, founded Lights Along the Shore. The sounds of the instrumental quartet Lights Along the Shore resonate with the beauty of lights flickering in villages along the shores of the great rivers of Moldova, and the lights of lively Wyoming towns shimmering on the expanse of the great American prairie.
