Westward Heights Care Center recognized as a “Great Workplace” by analysts

Vetter Senior Living, parent company to Westward Heights Care Center, is proud to announce that all of its locations have been certified as GREAT WORKPLACES by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work®.

As a member of the VSL family, Westward Heights provides services and living options for rehabilitation, independent and assisted living and skilled nursing. Their employees, as well as thousands of others, participated in the workplace survey. Below is a summary of the results.

VSL employees completed 2,145 surveys, resulting in a 90 percent confidence level and a margin of error of ± 1.13.

According to the survey, more than 90% of their team members say they take pride in their work and 86% said their facility is a great workplace. This fact “is a strong testament to our mission, ‘Dignity in Life’,” commented VSL President Glenn Van Ekeren.

“In order to maintain a high quality of care for the seniors we serve,” said Natalie Korell, Administrator at Westward Heights Care Center. “We feel it is imperative to attract only the best and brightest people to join our teams. And once we’ve found them, we work hard to keep them.”
