This may be one of the last Fremont County weekends for t-shirt weather.
Temperatures in Riverton and Lander will reach the mid to upper 60’s, while Dubois will stay comfortable in the afternoon with high’s in the mid to upper 50’s.
Overnight low’s will dip into the mid 30’s in the high country, and remain in the lower 40’s for Riverton/Lander.
The storyline this weekend aside from the warm weather will be the breeze. Riverton’s National Weather Service office has issued a special weather statement about the potential for strong wind gusts throughout the weekend.
A big chance appears to be in store for next week, with significant cooling and the threat of early and mid-week snowfall. Currently, the Halloween forecast has a small chance of precipitation across the county and high-temps in the upper 40’s.
Partly cloudy with mild temps again today. Expect gusty winds across much of the area with strong winds in the lee of the Absarokas. #wywx pic.twitter.com/5MD5Jrbuy8
