(Riverton, WY) – Sollie Cadman was recognized by employees at the District’s annual appreciation meeting on January 22nd in Riverton for his outstanding service on the Fremont County Weed and Pest Control District’s board of directors.
Sollie has served on the Fremont County Weed and Pest Control District board since 1999. He is also an active member of the Wyoming Weed and Pest Council.
Sollie has helped build the State of WY’s reputation as the leader in invasive species management. His influence has been large, from working with Wyoming legislators on updating Weed and Pest laws to leading the Wyoming Weed and Pest Council as council president.
“The Weed and Pest staff thinks highly of Sollie and we wanted to give him a special shout out for all the support he gives to district employees, the county, and the State of Wyoming,” said District Supervisor Aaron Foster.” “We think Sollie is a uniquely outstanding board member.”
