Wednesday looks to be mostly sunny, breezy; widely scattered showers expected late tonight

(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that any localized, patchy fog will dissipate and give way to mostly sunny skies for today, May 22, with southwest winds of up to 25 mph.

An upper level Pacific trough will make its way through the area tonight, Lipson added, which will combine with some upper level atmospheric dynamics associated with the Jetstream, and most likely will result in widely scattered showers late tonight.

The National Weather Service in Riverton has also shared that showers will return to western Wyoming today, and that wetter weather spreads across much of the area tonight into Thursday.

High temperatures will be in the 50’s and 60’s today, with lows tonight in the 30s for most.
