The National Weather Service office in Riverton has let us know, that there is a decent chance of snow across Fremont County again Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
Higher elevations received snow over the last 48 hours, including South Pass and Beaver Rim. Areas near Moneta also saw a few flurries mixed with fog.
NWS says that light snowfall could hit Riverton/Lander resulting in an inch or two of accumulation. Higher elevations Tuesday-Thursday may see 4-8 inches of snow.
Temperatures will remain very chilly. Dubois high temps will stay in the 30’s through Thursday. Riverton and Lander will likely reach the low 40’s, but not much more. So far, it looks like the coldest day of the week will be Wednesday. Friday will be the warmest of the next five days.
