Weather Update: Severe thunderstorms possible to start the week

    Severe storms are likely across all of Fremont County Monday and Tuesday.

    High temperatures will hit the upper 70’s and low 80’s in Dubois, while Riverton and Lander will see temps in the mid 80’s for the beginning of the week, and low 90’s for the middle of the week.

    The National Weather Service office in Riverton has issued the following warning Monday morning:

    .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
    Scattered thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and evening.
    Some could become strong to severe in northern and central Wyoming
    with large hail and damaging winds.
    .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
    Tuesday...Isolated to locally scattered thunderstorms; especially
    in the northern half of the state.
    Saturday and Sunday...Isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the
    afternoon and evening hours.
    Spotters are urged to report hail, wind gusts over 45 mph and
    heavy rainfall. Thank you.
