WDH receives “Thank you” from the Wyoming Association of School Administrators

The Wyoming Association of School Administrators (WASA) shared a letter of gratitude to the Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) for their guidance in reopening school districts this fall.

The majority of Wyoming schools have been in session for about a month, and so far, none have needed to close, according to a recent press conference with Governor Mark Gordon. He attributes this to the implementation of protocols for hygiene, social distancing, and face coverings.

“We know the decisions make by the Department of Health are not easy and not always popular, but we believe the best place for the students of Wyoming is in our schools and the work done by the Wyoming Department of Health has made and will continue to make face-to-face instruction possible,” the letter from WASA states.
