(Riverton, WY) – The “Sleep in Heavenly Peace Build Day” is quickly approaching, and they need volunteers and sponsors.
The Riverton Kiwanis Club has partnered with Sleep In Heavenly Peace, a volunteer organization that builds beds for kids that don’t have them and are forced to sleep on the floor, and will be hosting a build day on Saturday, August 14th from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Riverton City Park.
The groups are in need of event sponsors (corporate and individual) and 45 volunteers to make this a successful event.
The last build day event took place in Lander, and saw dozens of volunteers of all ages and skill sets show up to help build beds for those in need.
“Building skills are not a requirement to participate. If you have a desire to serve, we will put you to work,” event organizers state.
“We have already delivered a large number of beds to children in Riverton. However, the need is large!”
