Visit the Gem for an old favorite this weekend – P.S. Barry Cinemas loves you!

The Acme and Grand Theatres are getting all new seats! This means no Mystery Movies this weekend as the Grand is closed but guaranteed extreme comfiness once it opens up again. Get ready to really be able to sit back and relax while you watch a prime flick on the big screen. The Gem Theatre in Riverton is still open and playing new movies as well as old favorites.

In the mood for a love story? The Gem is showing the old favorite, P.S. I Love You at 7:10 pm. The film stars Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler in a love story about a young widow who discovers that her late husband has left her 10 messages intended to help ease her pain and start a new life.

Barry Cinemas Gem Theatre is showing the 2021 new release, The Little Things, starring Denzel Washington, Rami Malek, and Jared Leto.

Deke (Denzel Washington), a burnt-out Kern County, CA deputy sheriff teams up with Baxter (Rami Malek), a crack LASD detective, to nab a serial killer. Deke’s nose for the “little things” proves eerily accurate, but his willingness to circumvent the rules embroils Baxter in a soul-shattering dilemma. Meanwhile, Deke must wrestle with a dark secret from his past.

Barry Cinemas has changed its hours and will be closed Monday and Tuesday until further notice. That still leaves plenty of time to catch a great movie on the big screen. Book tickets online and save time and make sure you can pick the perfect seat ahead of time. Just click on the time of the movie you are interested in and it takes you to the “book tickets” screen.
